Helping Hands:

Ned's Trust

Since Ned’s horrific accident on June 2, 2005, Ned has made huge progress! With an original diagnosis of “NEVER” being able to breathe on his own, talk, eat or move any part of his body, over the last few years, Ned has defied all odds. Today he is off a ventilator, no more feeding tube, has great use of his left hand and arm and is making terrific progress with his right as you can see in the picture. He loves to text and type and go on Facebook – keeping in touch with his many friends and checking out all the latest sports news.

All this, because of his tremendous courage and never-give-up spirit. He is an inspiration to his family, friends and his community every day. Kasey, his helper monkey, has been there by his side every minute and has brought joy and laughter to Ned’s life. So many people have asked us how they can help with Ned’s recovery. His non-reimbursable medical expenses over the years have been enormous and will continue throughout Ned’s life.

How to help?

We have set up a “special needs trust” for Ned. This trust will allow him to receive financial gifts from generous individuals while not impacting any government benefits that he currently receives.

We would be very grateful if you would consider donating any gift to “Ned’s Trust.”
No gift is too small.
